So sorry to hear about David’s passing.....first met the young schoolboy in the mid 70’s when courting his second cousin, Christabel....we went up to Londonderry for the weekend and while Christabel got the luxury of a lovely bed, I ended on the floor with David, Carl and from memory a Bugie..... Never had feeds like it from their mother Doreen and boy could those fellas put the food away.....little did we realise when we got married we would end up with 4 boys of our own and many a time we compared our Cubs to Tommy and Doreen’s...... Unfortunately as years pass it would be occasions like Wedding’s or the passing of the older generation that our paths would cross again with loads of time catching up.... Its not right that someone younger that yourself should leave us and leave that void that seems so hard to fill.....both Christabel and myself find ourselves often reminiscing about the brilliant times we had up in Derry with one of the nicest families and now our thoughts are with those young Cubs extended families....
